BTFRI welcomes referred leaders in higher education fundraising and development. While our focus is traditionally Big Ten, we encourage leaders from outside of the Conference to apply!
We invite experienced, director-level (and above) leaders in higher education with an interest in major/principal gifts, campaign management, and leadership/management responsibilities to apply!
Start the process by submitting an application form along with a with referral from a senior leader within your organization. Once approved, you will receive a separate link to complete your registration.
2023 Application and Registration Dates
March 10: Application process opens
April 21: Application deadline, registration period begins
May 12: Registration deadline
May 15: 2023 conference attendees receive welcome materials including conference overview and room reservation booking codes
BTFRI charges a $1,200 registration fee, payable by your university employer, which covers your conference costs. This fee includes all program materials and planned group meals.
The registration fee is due upon approval of application and completed registration.
Hotel reservations and costs are separate from the registration fee and must be booked on your own. See room block information, included in the BTFRI registration confirmation materials and the resources for attendees tab of the website.
Note: A $200 fee will be assessed for cancellations received after Friday, June 16. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after Monday, July 10.
